  • SusDA participated in the official launch of the Alternative Funding Models (AFM) online course on July 6, 2022. The AFM online course was designed based on the Alternative Funding Models Guidebook developed by the institute with support from Wilde Ganzen.

  • SusDA participated in an organizational safeguarding webinar hosted by Participatory Development Associates (PDA) on Thursday, July 28, 2022. The webinar was meant to help participants acquire and share knowledge on how to collectively deal with issues of mainstreaming safeguarding systems and practices within organizations.

  • SusDA joined Participatory Development Associates’ (PDA) as part of the 6th Annual Knowledge Sharing Workshop of Child Protection held at Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT (AITI-KACE), Ridge-Accra, on Thursday, November 24, 2022.

  • A Memorandum of Understanding was signed with two universities, i.e., the University of Environment and Sustainable Development, Somanya, and the University of Energy and Natural Resources, Sunyani, as part of the SUAHUNU and Education for Humanity projects. Schoolchildren were supported as part of the Suahunu initiative to monitor trees planted under the ‘One Child, One Tree” component.

    • SusDA mapped out all key water and sanitation actors in Ghana; details of the mapping report included their names, location, scope of work, category of actor (state, private business, or CSO), size of organisation, date established, etc.; and facilitated the formation of a network of Water and Sanitation Actors in Ghana.
