Gender Equality and Social Inclusion
We envision a future where women, girls, persons of all genders, and members of marginalized communities have control over their futures and are valued as leaders. We work to ensure they have access to resources needed to thrive in safe, resilient communities where their rights are fulfilled and protected. Through our integrated approach, we promote systems and practices that advance gender equality and social inclusion across all our programs.
We work at the community, district and national level with governments, , and civil society to improve citizens’ access to justice. Together with our partners, we advance critical legal reforms, strengthen judicial institutions, and ensure the most marginalized in society know their rights and have access to quality legal services.
We Promote citizen participation, Human Rights, transparency and accountability, and women’s inclusion in decision-making at all levels.

SusDA envisages a society where everyone can access clean water, and struggle less for energy for both domestic and business purposes with a clean and safe environment. Clean energy, water, and sanitation are essential aspects of building a sustainable and healthy community. Access to clean energy and water resources ensures a safe and healthy environment for individuals by reducing the risk of waterborne diseases and minimizing pollution.
It also increases economic opportunities by promoting access to clean water, clean and reliable sanitation facilities, such as toilets for maintaining good hygiene and reducing the spread of communicable diseases.
Clean energy such as cook stoves reduces the cost and time burden of women in collecting fuelwood and reducing the health risk of rural folks when they are using local fire wood with much exposure to smoke. In summary, clean energy, water and sanitation are essential to improving the health, economy and environment of any community.
