On May 21st, 2024, SusDA and the JAIN University team led by Mrs. Harriet N Asante (Deputy Director, SusDA) and Dyuthi Vasanth, International Relations for Ghana (JAIN University) visited the University of Environment and Sustainable Development at Somanya.

SusDA and the University of Environment and Sustainable Development have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together. The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize themselves with the JAIN University programs and to enroll interested students. The leadership of the University, led by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Eric Nyarko-Sampson, the registrar, the Dean of students, and faculty members, attended the meeting. The Vice-Chancellor provided background information about the University and the courses offered. The SusDA and JAIN University Team also presented the purpose of the engagement meeting and background information about the University and its scholarship programs. The University body asked several questions to gain a better understanding of the courses. The meeting concluded satisfactorily for all parties involved.
